This Keshava temple is almost six hundred years old with Hoysala style architecture facing east. At least from past two centuries no temple rituals are performed. The temple is almost degenerated with no hope for reconstruction. The main idol in the sanctum is degenerated and not suitable for standard rituals.
Moreover the temple is in old village which is almost a kilometer away from the current village. It is realized that the people left the old village almost hundred years back due to natural calamities and settled in the current new village.
There is new temple built in new village. This new temple construction is undertaken by the individuals who hailed from this village. The temple construction was completed in the year 2019.
